I knew Doris from the dances for the oldies. We would contact each other once in awhile to catch up. She was a beautiful woman outside and in. I'm sure she is going to be truly missed I was shocked I just found out going to send her a message. Live on in heaven Doris and dance and watch your loved ones. I will pray for you. Love and God's blessings, Nancy

Aunt Doris - We had such fun here at the B&B whenever you and Frank visited. You shared my love of books and also dinners at the Brook House - your favorite place to eat when you came to town. You will be greatly missed! Love, Ingrid

I have very few childhood memories that didn’t include Doris Holtz!!! She lived near my Aunt and cousin, went to the same church, was part of the same Sunday School class as my mom ( also a Doris) and both of them would dress up for Halloween when I was a kid.Mom and I would frequently run into her at Agolino’s. GOD bless and comfort her family and friends…& only GOD knows what the two Dorises are up to in heaven!!!

I didn't get to enjoy a personal relationship with Doris as long as I could have, although she was always part of our family stories. For the relatively short period I did, she was one of the sweetest people I've ever met, yet with enough hutzpah to be fun as well. She was a kind and thoughtful person, and will be greatly missed. I'm so glad I got to stop in and see her (and Uncle Russ) while I was traveling. Cherish the good times, and hug those around you while you have them. Our best to the family, Sarah & Jim (Sarah Marsh Read)

Our hearts are broken, but your suffering has ended. So many memories, so many good times that we will cherish forever - birthday parties, weddings, bridal & baby showers, graduations, Knoebels, Mainwaring Reunion, Genesee Country Museum, craft fairs, antique co-op, Christmas village, gatherings at Martha’s tables and many, many more. Always the life of the party and the favorite aunt to many. So thoughtful, caring, generous and kind - we are all so blessed to have had you in our lives. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace. Love, Karen, Gary and Ingrid

I love you Aunt Doris. You were always there if I needed you... I could always go to you for advise. You were there when I was little... Birthday parties, Christmas, church, all holidays and every Sunday. I moved away for a long time, and as soon as I moved back, we picked up where we left off. No distance can change the love of family. You have suffered too long, and now you're with Jesus. Say hey to Marty!

In loving memory of our dear Aunt Doris. You always provided us with a good laugh and brightened up any room you walked in to. As one of my mother's favorites, you will be surely missed by all of those whose lives you touched. We will always remember the good time we had when you and Frank visited us down in North Carolina along with Mom and Gene. And although you were a Penguins fan ( and we are Flyers fans! ) its hard to argue whose team you supported with someone who loved Snoopy as much as I do! May you rest in peace in heaven along with Shirley and all our other family members that have passed. I will miss your voice and lately all our text messages. A lovely lady, easy to talk to and who's smile was contagious. She will be missed by all who know her. A big Pittsburg Penguins fan, she can now watch her team from up on high. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and may she rest in peace in God's kingdom. The Lynch Family.....John, Kimberly and Kevin
