Lois Collicott, 93, of West Pittston, passed away Sunday November 28th, 2021 at the Hospice of The Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Born in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Blair and Helen Hessler Collicott.

Lois attended West Pittston High School and received her Cosmetologist license from Bradford Beauty Academy, Wilkes-Barre.

She owned and operated a beauty shop in Forty Fort for many years until the flood of 1972 inundated Forty Fort, and her shop was one of the casualties.

She enjoyed her time quilting and knitting and was very proficient at both.

Lois is survived by her sister, Nancy Collicott Morris, and nieces Jan Whelan, Susan Holey, and Joan Hipp.

We would like to express special thanks to Hospice of The Sacred Heart for the compassionate care and attention given Lois.

Funeral arrangements are private and will be held at the Convenience of the Family. Internment will be in the West Pittston Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
