Philip G. Ferland Obituary
Philp G. Ferland, 79, of Laflin, passed away Tuesday afternoon June 27th, 2023 in Highland Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, Exeter.
Born in Jackman, Maine he was a son of the late Wilford and Joanne Rancourt Ferland and was a graduate of the Forrest Hills High School. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church.
Philip was a maintenance supervisor for a paper company in Maine and at Pope and Talbot and retired then from Cascade Tissue.
He was a volunteer EMT and Firefighter in Oakland Maine when he resided there and also in Laflin Borough.
Philp is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Clair Hornung, daughters, Julie Ferland, Laflin, Kimberly Ferland and companion Mark Diskin, Augusta, Maine, sons Mark Ferland and companion Donna Salerno, Old Forge, Philip Ferland, Pittsburgh, Brother Danny Ferland, Maine, Theresa Smith and husband Jerry, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.
As per Philip’s wishes all funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
