Joann A. Vincent, 80, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 27th, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Maude Cochran Ciraolo and was a graduate of Pittston Area High School Class of 1960.  She as a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. 

She was a graduate of Jerrytone Beauty School and was a licensed Cosmetologist until her retirement.

Her family was the light of her life.  She was also an amazing cook and baker.  Her loss is deeply felt by everyone who knew her.

Joann was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Giordano who resided in The Villages, Florida.

She is survived by her four children, Joseph Knowles and wife Sandy, Pittston, Leroy Knowles and wife Tanya, Pittston, William Knowles and fiancé Pamela Dieffenbach, Harding, Joanne Mortimer and husband John, Pittston, granddaughters, Amanda Lombardo and husband Michael, Kelsey Grant and her husband Matthew, Brianna Knowles, Alyssa Knowles, Jordan Mortimer and Alexandria Mortimer; great grandchildren, Melania Lombardo, Nathan Grant, Aurora Grant, Carson Ratajczak; sister, Connie Walker and her husband Jack, Pittston, Angela Marquardt and fiancé Paul Marcero, Pittston, brother, Jospeh Ciraolo, Pittston, brother in law, John Giordano, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date to be announced.

Funeral arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
