Sue Ann McLaughlin, 89, of Forty-Fort, passed away Sunday December 31st, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Uniontown, Pa she was a daughter of the late Isaac Andrew Moore V and Maude Ruth Ryan Moore and was a graduate of the Germantown High School.
After High School she attended College and then enlisted in the Uniter States Air Force. She was a proud patriot. Sue loved her Country.
She was a member of the Slocum Chapel Church, Exeter. She was also active at the Church on the Square, Wilkes-Barre.
Sue was an artist, poet, and a published author. Her first and greatest love was the Lord. The legacy she leaves behind for her family is Love as she had so much to give everyone.
She was preceded in death by her son, baby Keith McLaughlin, grandson, Jason McLaughlin, brothers, Andrew Isaac Moore VI, Richard Sherrick Moore, and sister Cindy Jane Baran.
Sue is survived by her children, Leon Dwayne (Lonny) McLaughlin, Mark S. McLaughlin (Carol), Jamie L. McLaughlin (Kathleen), Rebecca J. Curits (Michael), Jennifer S. McLaughlin, Thomas I. McLaughlin (Val), 17, grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
As per Sue’s wishes there will be a Memorial Service held at a date to be announced by her family.
