Richard J. Kasisky, 76, of Nanticoke, passed away Sunday December 31st, 2023 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany he was a son of the late Andrew and Maria Schuhmacher Kasisky and was a graduate of the Pittston Area High School.   After High School Richard attended drafting school.

He was employed up until his retirement at H.P.G. as a Machine operator.

Richard was a member of the Alden Rod and Gun club.  He loved Hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.  He also enjoyed gardening, picking wild mushrooms and his loved his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Kasisky, brothers Andrew “Sonny” Kasisky and Joseph Kasisky.

Richard is survived by his wife the former Irene Maciejczak, daughter, Adriean Kasisky and Fiance' Paul Zelinsky, Exeter, Stepson, Ronald Ebert, Berwick, brothers, Ronald Kasisky and his wife Laura, Wyoming, Michael Kasisky and his wife Betty Lou, Pittston, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
