Joseph “JoJo” Cavello, 80, of Exeter, passed away Monday August 5th, 2024 in Oakridge Nursing and Rehabilitation, Taylor.

Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Jospeh and Louise Venetz Cavello and attended Exeter High School.   Joe was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.

Joe was employed for many years at Fox Hill Country Club, Exeter as a cart manager.  He also worked at the old Mama Nicks tavern and Dowse’s Bar as a bartender.

He was an avid golfer, Miami Dolphins football fan.

Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Rooney, brother-in-law, Eugene Rooney, sister-in-law, Jeanann Cavello, and brother-in-law, Stephen Golenski, Brother-in-law, Stephen Kolbeck.

He is survived by his, sister, Rosemary Golenski, Pittston Twp., Michael Cavello, Exeter, Gloria Kolbeck, Exeter and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are asked to attend a viewing for Joe on Friday August 9th, 2024 from 9:30am. until 11:30am. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.   A blessing service will be held at 11:30am. with Monsignor John Sempa of Corpus Christi Parish, officiating.  Interment will then follow in Dennison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
