Sarah K Kelly, 82, of Pittston, passed away Sunday January 5th, 2025 in Highland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, Exeter surrounded by her family.

Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Delaney Cawley.  She was a graduate of St. John’ s High School, Pittston.  Sarah was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. Pittston.

She worked at the Luzerne County Courthouse until her retirement in the Clerk of Courts office.

Sarah was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Cawley Jr, and sister Mary “MiMi” Shovlin.

She is survived by her two children, Joseph Kelly and wife Debbie, Jenkins Twp., Robert and wife Melissa, Pittston Twp., several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday January 10th, 2025 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston.   Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.   There will be no calling hours.
