

Helen Jamieson Healey, 81, of Pittston, passed away Thursday March 6th, 2025 at her home after a brief illness.
Born in West Pittston, she was a daughter of the late William and Eloise Mahar Jamieson. She was a graduate of Pittston High School class of 1961.
She as a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Broad Street, Pittston where she served as Elder and Financial Secretary for many years until its closing.
Helen was a current member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Parsonage Street, Pittston.
She was employed at for years at Owen’s Illinois and then at Domestic Relations for Luzerne County as a receptionist until her retirement. Helen was a caregiver to several senior citizens in the Pittston Area.
Her Love of animals, she was a member of the former Greyhound Connections club with rescued greyhound racers.
Helen was preceded in death by sister, Jeanne and her husband Charles Wallen, and great-nephew Joel Wallen.
She is survived by daughter, Adriene Ryzner, son, Joseph Richard Healey, granddaughter, Raina Ryzner, great-granddaughters, Caleigh and Kensli Ross, sister Ruth Jamieson, nephews, Douglas Wallen and wife Cara, Charles Wallen Jr. and his wife Jacqueline.
A Funeral service will be held on Monday evening at 7pm. In the Second Presbyterian Church at 143 Parsonage Street, Pittston. A viewing will be held in the church from 5pm. until service time. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
