
Obituary of Glen W. Sutter
Glen W. Sutter, 68, of Harding, passed away Thursday evening in Allied Skilled Hospice, Scranton.
Born in Scranton he was a son of the late Glen and Mildred Huggler Sutter. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School. Glen was a member of Corpus Christi Parish (Holy Redeemer Church), Harding.
Glen was employed at Topps Manufacturing for many years and then went to Cascade Tissue until his retirement.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, West Pittston, and also was a past President of the Steel Workers Union.
Glen enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved family cruises and trips to Disney World. He and his late wife Shirley loved trips to Atlantic City and the local Casinos. Glen loved to watch all kinds of sports and was an avid LA Rams, Penn State and New York Yankees fan. He also loved coaching his kids Shawn and Eric in baseball. He loved fishing, hunting, cigars, and playing darts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Nocek Sutter, and his son Eric Sutter.
Glen is survived by his children, daughter, Tracey Cebula and husband Joseph, Falls, son, Shawn and his wife Nikou, Harding, grandchildren, Kristen (Nick), Courtney, Brooke, Gavin, Brayden, Bryce, Wyatt, Brantley, 3 great-grandchildren, sister, Pam Neidrich and husband Charlie, Clarks Summit, brother, Danny and wife Lisa, Ransom, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday with a viewing starting at 9am. until 10:30am. in Corpus Christi Parish (Holy Redeemer Church) at 2438 State Route 92 Highway, Harding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am. Interment will be held in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding.
