Josephine Ann Price, 91, of West Pittston, passed away Friday February 6th, 2026 in Highland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, Exeter.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Butera.  She was a graduate of Pittston High School.  Josephine was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.

During High School she worked in local dress factories as a sewer.  She then went to beauty school an obtained her beauticians license and operated her own beauty shop out of her home for many years.

Josephine loved her family especially her grandson Jon.  She loved her church, reading and being at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Price in 2025, sister, Rosalie Butera, brother Louis Butera.

Josephine is survived by her son, Robert Price and his wife Ellen, Dupont, grandson, Jon, West Pittston, sister Theresa Borowski, New Jersey and several nieces and nephews.

A blessing service will be held on Monday February 16th,2 026 at 10am. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston with Father Paul McDonnell, officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Burial Park, Harding.
