Shelley S. Morrill Obituary

Shelley S. Morrill, 52, of West Pittston, passed away Thursday February 26th, 2026 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a brief illness.  


Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of Fred J. Sickler and the late Melody Chapman Sickler.   She was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Exeter.  After High School she went to Indiana University of Pa and majored in Business and Marketing.   Shelley was a member of the First United Methodist Church, West Pittston.


Shelley was employed at Cognizant as a Sales/Marketing manager.  


She loved her family.   Family to her was everything especially her son.  Anyone who knew Shelley knows that she loved Hello Kitty, shopping trips, Heinz ketchup, reading, and reality tv shows.  She also had an obsession for Zumba/Dance and attended classes regularly and also taught some of them. 


She was preceded in death by her mother, brother, Fred J. Sickler.


Shelley is survived by her husband of 23 years, Michael Morrill, son Aarre Morrill, West Pittston, father, Fred J. Sickler, West Pittston, sister Lucy Obrzut and husband Mark, West Pittston, step-children, Faith Dixey, Paul Morrill, niece and nephews, Lucy Amanda Obrzut, Nathanael Obrzut, Alexander Sickler and Girlfriend Rachel, John Barnhart, Victoira Tapia, Mark Obrzut, aunts and uncles and cousins.


The funeral will be held on Saturday March 7th, 2026 at 11:15am. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.   Pastor Mark Obrzut will be officiating the service the begins at 11:15am.   Interment will be in the Hughestown cemetery.   A viewing will be held on Friday March 6th, 2026 from 5pm until 8pm at the Funeral Home.
