Edward L. “Eddie” Lussi, 50, of Boynton Beach Florida and formerly of Jenkins Twp., passed away Monday March 16th, 2026 unexpectedly. 

Born in Scranton he was a son of Louis and Maryann Davis Lussi.  He was a 1994 graduate of Pittston Area High School.  After High School he went to Luzerne County Community College and then went to Lynn University.   He was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.

Eddie was employed as a project manager for Animal Scan for many years.  

His son Logan was the center of his universe and everything revolved around him.    Whether it was playing videos games, swimming, sleepovers, arcades, escape rooms and their love of eating candy all the time was so special to him.    Eddie loved his family, Photo Finish Line Visual horse racing, the Denver Broncos, L.A. Dodgers, and Texas Holdom.  He loved listening to Morgan Wallen, boat riding and fine dining. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Shaun M. Lussi in 2021.

Eddie is survived by his son, Logan Jagger Lussi, parents Louis and Maryann Lussi, Jenkins Twp., brother Louis and his wife Maureen, Duryea, sister Kim Lussi and fiancé Jim Stuppino, nieces and nephews, McKayla Kathio, Louis and Brea Lussi, his former wife and best friend Lisa Cohen-Lussi, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillp Cohen, former brother in law and friend, Adam Cohen and wife Christine, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friend Lisa Stuppino.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00am from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.  A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish at 237 William Street, Pittston.  Interment will follow in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston Twp.   A viewing for Eddie will be held on Monday from 5pm until 8pm at the Funeral Home.
