Share Teresa Connors, 88, passed away Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021, at Allied Skilled Nursing, formerly St. Therese, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Yatesville on April 8, 1933, she was the daughter of James and Josephine Micera Alexander and was a graduate of West Pittston High School, Class of 1952. Teresa was a member of the former St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter. She was retired from Wyoming Area School District. Prior to being at Allied, she lived in Exeter until 2004 when she moved to Cedar Village, which she loved, being closer to her daughter and grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jimmy Connors; and sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Joseph Smith. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Sandra Coyle; son, William Connors; grandson, Francis James Coyle, who she cherished and adored with all her heart. Also surviving are nieces, Karen Jacobs; and Nancy Smith; cousins; and friends. She will be sadly missed by all but especially by her grandson, Frank, who she was always there for. Sleep in peace, Mom, with God and the angels and with your son, Jimmy. Give him a hug for us. We love and miss you so much already Garm. Funeral arrangements are private and will be held at the Convenience of the family. Arrangements are from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston.
