Sharen L. Urban Callahan, 72, passed away Friday April 15th, 2022 at the Kingston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kingston where she had been a resident. Born in Kingston she was the daughter of Helen Urban-Gregory and the late Thomas Urban. She was graduate of the Kingston High School. Sharen was a self-taught Chef and worked at several local establishments throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Callahan. Sharen is survived by her daughters, Rachelle Markham of Dallas, Morgan Javitz and her husband Jason of Philadelphia, Grandchildren, Richard Zurenda, Connor and Makenna Markham, Jasper and Juniper Javitz, Sisters Carol Urban-Hanson and her husband Bruce J. Hanson of Harvey's Lake, Lillian Chesik of Wyoming, Brother Richard T. Urban and his wife Christina of Harvey's Lake, Thomas Urban and his wife Gale of Kingston, and several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services for Sharen will be private and held at the convenience of the Family. Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
