Marie A. Modeski, 81, of West Pittston, Passed into Eternal Life on Friday December 3rd, 2021 in the River Run Nursing Home in Plains Twp.

Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella Amico Musto and was a graduate of the Pittston High School.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in West Pittston and she was a seamstress in many of our local dress factories.

The most important things in Marie's life was her family and she enjoyed spending all of her time with them.

Marie was reunited with her husband Stanley Modeski who passed away on December 8th, 2011.

She is survived by her children, Daughters Carmela Fox and her husband Kevin of West Pittston, Michele Pritchard and her husband Jack of Colorado, Son, Michael Modeski of Florida, Grandchildren, Brycen Fox, John Pritchard and his wife Nicole and David Pritchard, Three Great- Grandchildren, Brother John Musto and his wife Nancy of Plains Twp. and Several Nieces and Nephews.

The Funeral Will be held on Wednesday December 8th, 2021 at 12:30p.m. from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1p.m. in Corpus Christi Church at 605 Luzerne Avenue in West Pittston with the Rite of Committal immediately following Mass in the West Pittston Cemetery. Friends and Family may call on Tuesday from 4p.m. until 7p.m. at the Funeral Home.
