Cynthia Marie Guarnieri of Duryea, 54, passed away at her home on Monday, December 6, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Charles "Red" Guarnieri and Irene Ostrowski Guarnieri.
Cindy is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers: Dr. Louis Guarnieri and Charles Guarnieri, Jr., sisters: Charlene Rogers, Maria Schillaci, and Mary Kabacinski – her lifelong best friend.
Cindy and Mary were the ultimate dynamic duo, you just didn't see one without the other.
Additionally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who loved her endlessly and appreciated the role model she was in their lives.
She dedicated her life to her family and friends through her hard work, selfless presence, and unending playfulness. Cindy was a solver of problems, your biggest fan, and the anchor in the life of her loved ones.
She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord Church, formerly Holy Rosary, attended Seton Catholic High School and became a certified Chiropractic Assistant through the New York Chiropractic College. She then worked faithfully at and served the Wyoming Valley Chiropractic Center for 36 years spreading joy and laughter to everyone who came through the door. Her joy in life was being around family and friends, telling stories, laughing, and playing games.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the Convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
