Jean M. Snopkowski, 82, of Jenkins Twp., passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 9, 2021, at Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie Madura Snopkowski and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Dupont.
She was a member of Valley Alliance Church, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston.
Jean was employed in the banking industry in the accounting departments and last worked for Bank of America.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph “Butchie” Snopkowski.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Donna Boos and her husband, Michael, Falls; son, Denis Abromavage, Ponte Verde, Fla.; sisters, Diane Ball and husband, Gill, Old Forge; Nancy Walsh, Dupont; and Debbie Hampton and husband, Darrel, Pittston Twp.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a day and time to be announced due to COVID-19.
