Claire "Cathy" Romanchick, 64, a resident of Creekside Nursing Home in Carbondale, passed away Monday July 26th, 2021 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Michael and Claire Bielewski Romanchick. She attended Throop High School and was an avid Penn State Fan and loved being on Facebook keeping in touch with family and friends.

She was preceded by her daughter Jessica Carey in 2015, granddaughter Megan Drozdick in 2007, Sisters, Rose Bronson, Barbara James, Agnes Miller, Julie Lisko, Brother, Michael Romanchick.

Cathy is survived by her children, Son, Greg Murray and his wife Erin of Trucksville, Pa, Daughter, Miranda Romanchick of Carbondale, 7 grand children, Sister, Antionette Rocco of Throop, and Marie Derenick of Carbondale, Several Nieces and Nephews.

A Service will be held on Saturday at 4p.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2p.m. until the Service time at 4p.m. Interment will be held at the Convenience of the Family.
