James M. Cebula Obituary

James Cebula, 31, of Pittston, passed away Monday December 20th, 2021. Born in Scranton he is the son of Jean Marie Stempien Scott and attended Pittston High School.


James had a Bright Light in his life his little girl Luna. He loved her and cherished every minute he could with her.

He loved and enjoyed being her father.


He was also loved camping and fishing. James always said you can find me by the stream. He loved Music especially by his two favorites

Jim Morrison and Leonard Skinner. He always told people "I was Third Row at the Skinner Concert".


He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Helen Stempien, and John and Theresa Cebula.


James is Survived by his Daughter, Luna Lily Cebula, Mother Jean Marie Scott, Sister Jessica Scott and her Fiancé Erica Shearer of Pittsburg, Companion Paula Loftus of Pittston, Cousins, William Kuna, Jeremy Chismar, Erika Stempien, Emily Jackson, and Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.


A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday Evening December 23rd, 2021 at 7p.m. with the Rev. Nash Officiating at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston. Family and Friends may call from 5p.m until Service time at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be private and held at the Convenience of the Family.
