Ann Beverly Williams, 88, of West Pittston, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Hospice Community Care in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born Sept. 22, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Bernadine Brennan Hines; and sister to the late Joan Ansilio; and late brother-in-laws, Phillip Ansilio, Paul Williams; and the late sister-in-law, Marie Lynch Williams. Beverly and he husband, John, celebrated 61 years of marriage and resided in West Pittston for most of their married life. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston. Beverly found great joy in giving back to the community throughout her life. Her contributions included past president of the West Pittston Women's Club, past president and long time board member of the West Pittston Library, Friends of the West Pittston Library, Girl Scout Troop Leader, West Pittston Ambulance and the West Pittston Shade Tree Commission. Most recently she enjoyed volunteering at Corpus Christi Church and St. John's clothing closet. She is survived by her husband, John Williams; daughter, Barbara Hoffman and son-in-law, Mark, Sharon, Mass.; son, Morgan and daughter-in-law, Mary Lynn, Duncansville; grandsons, John Paul; and Kevin Williams; and Matthew and Jeffery Hoffman; brother-in-law, Wayne Williams; and sister-in-law, Mary Williams; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. There will be no calling hours. Interment is in West Pittston Cemetery. At the church, CDC and state social distancing guidelines will be followed and facial coverings are required. The family is exceptionally grateful for the wonderful care provided by Dr. Sandhya Desari. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Beverly's honor to the West Pittston Library, 200 Exeter Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643. Funeral arrangements are from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston.
