Joanne Netter Herron, 92, formerly of West Pittston, passed away on Sunday January 16th, 2022 in the United Methodist Homes Wesley Village Campus in Jenkins Twp. Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Anna Williams Netter and was a graduate of the West Pittston High School. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Kingston. Joanne was Piano Teacher and also an Organist and the Choir Director for 50 years at her Church. She loved being involved with all of the Church Programs. She also worked at Bartikowsky Jewelers, and also in the Offices of Dr. Radzwilka and Argenio for several years. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, Mozart Club, and the Wyoming Valley Oratorio Society as a Soprano Singer. Anyone who knew Joanne knows that she had the best sense of Humor and could always make anyone laugh and feel so relaxed. Joanne was preceded in death by her Husband Charles Herron in 2007, Brother, Willis T. Netter and his wife Jean Netter, and Edwin Netter. She is survived by her sons, Keith Herron and his wife Laura of West Pittston, Clark Herron, of West Pittston, Grandchildren, Chelsea Herron and Fiancé Gerald Fabri, Collin Herron and his Companion Jennifer Bone, 1 Great Grandchild, Montgomery, Sister in law Lois Netter of Long Island, Daughter in law, Kathleen Herron of Dallas, Pa, and Several Nieces and Nephews. The Family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Village for their compassionate care that they have given Joanne during her stay. A Memorial Service and Viewing will be held at a date to be announced. Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
