William H. Guerin Sr, 69, of Pittston passed away Wednesday Afternoon at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Pittston he was the son of the late Henry and Genevieve Finn Guerin and was a graduate of the Pittston Area High School class of 1972. He was a member of Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish in Pittston and was employed for many years as an Industrial Mechanic at Owens Illinois and then later Techniglass.
William was a 3rd degree member of the John F. Kennedy Knights of Columbus Council 372 in Pittston.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. William also loved meeting up with friends for a night out.
He was preceded by his wife Alice in 2017.
William is survived by his two sons, William Jr. and is wife Kortini of Exeter, Robert and his wife Crystal of Hughestown, 5 grandchildren, Sister Jean Guerin of Florida.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday morning April 20th, 2022 at 9:30a.m. in Our Lady of the Eucharist at 535 North Main Street Pittston with the Rev. Paul McDonnell Officiating. Everyone is asked to go directly to Church. Interment will be held in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Pittston After Mass. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday April 19th, 2022 from 5p.m. until 7p.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
