Dr Kathio came to our rescue as he did for countless other people. He never thought twice about seeing my sweet stray that was too young to be away from its mother. I had 3 other vets in the back mountain turn us away and I'm sure Binx would not be with us today if it wasn't for Dr. Kathio opening his heart once again for one tiny straggly kitten! He's the Vet with a heart and he was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed!

The world has lost a beautiful, giving, and compassionate soul. Thank you, Dr. Kathio, for performing eye surgery on my kitty, Roux, and for all of your advocacy and work on behalf of animals. I will never forget your generosity and care towards people and pets. You truly were and will continue to be the world’s best vet.
I can only imagine the reunion that happened once you crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
May his memory be a blessing.
Sincerely,
Valerie Palmer

Doc. Was a wonderful friend. He always wanted me to take pictures for him and I would. I remember he wanted to take me to Pakistan because he was starting a new animal clinic. I wish I took him up on that offer. Good bye, old friend.

We celebrate his contributions to the veterinary community worldwide, his selfless providing of free services to those in need, and his passion for educating others about the needs of animals and how to be responsible pet owners. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and the countless animals whose lives he touched.
