Lucy Zorgo, 101 , formerly of West Pittston, passed away Tuesday evening January 24th, 2023 in Guardian Health Care, Nanticoke.

Born in Pittston she was a daughter of the late Nunzio and Concetta Canonico Colechio and was a graduate of the Hughestown High School.   She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Pittston.

Lucy and her husband George Zorogo Sr. owned and operated Zorgo printing which was located on North Main Street, Pittston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Zorgo Sr. in 2010, son George Zorgo Jr, sisters, Evelyn Williams, Lena McArdle,  and daughter in law, Marylin Zorgo.

Lucy is survived by her daughters, Avelene Halliwell and husband Thomas of Nanticoke, Lisa Rivchun and husband Leon, Hilton Head South Carolina, 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, sister Rosanne Maira, West Pittston, and several nieces and nephews.

As per Lucy’s wishes there will be no calling hour and Funeral Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the Family.   She will be laid to rest in the West Pittston Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
