Our beautiful and beloved Rebecca (Becca) June Ritts, 32, of Exeter, passed away suddenly on Monday February 20th, 2023.
Born November 28th, 1990 she was a daughter of Richard and Cindy McDonnell Ritts and was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School.
Becca loved more than anything being an aunt (BB) to her niece Willow. They were the best of friends and did everything together. She was known to always wear her sunglasses, even on cloudy days. She loved watching the lightening during thunderstorms. Becca loved staring at the stars and moon at night, and the clouds during the day. She always said “ I wish I could live on a cloud”. Becca enjoyed music, especially singing to Lana Del Ray, Celine Dion and Martina McBride.
She was blessed with an older sister Sarah and a younger sister Shannon.
Becca was a beautiful person inside and out and always on to be laughing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We will see her in the clouds and remember her and her pure heart forever.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Loretta June Ritts, Maternal Grandparents Eileen and Joseph (BoBo) McDonnell, uncle, Mark McDonnell, and cousin, Ian McDonnell.
Becca is survived by her father Richard Ritts; Sandy Coyle, Hanover Twp., mother, Cindy Ritts; Anton Verdine, West Wyoming, sister, Sarah Ritts; Jeff Hivish Sr, Jeff Hivish Jr., Willow Hivish, Wilkes-Barre, sister, Shannon Banul-Ritts and wife Samantha Banul-Ritts, Philadelphia, grandfather, Raymond Ritts, Exeter, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing for Becca on Thursday February 23rd, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. A blessing service will be held at 7pm with Father Paul McDonnell OSJ officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers or memorial donations may be made to social concern at Corpus Christi Parish at 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, Pa 18643 in Becca’s name.
