Linda S. King, 74, of West Pittston, passed away Monday morning May 8th, 2023 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, Pa.
Born in Pittston she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Jean Dymond King and was a graduate of the West Pittston High School. She as a member of the Moosic Alliance Community Church.
Linda attended Bloomsburg University and then received her Master’s in Special Education at Wilkes University. She was employed at the Oblates of St. Joseph School, Laflin
She loved working with kids. It was her lifelong passion. Linda also loved animals especially her Clumber Spaniels.
She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn White.
Linda is survived by her brothers, Lee King and wife Christine of Walden, New York, David King and wife Ruth Julian-Carl, Massachusetts, and several nieces and nephews.
As per Linda’s wishes her funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
She will be laid to rest with her parents and sister in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding.
Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child PO Box 3000 Boone, Nc. 28607.
