Obituary of Scott A. Nee

Scott Allen Nee, 63, of West Pittston, passed away Tuesday May 23rd, 2023 in the Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center with his wife and family by his side.

He was born September 10th, 1959 in Cumberland, Md, to the late Bernard Nee and Ruby Barnes Nee.

Scott was a graduate of the Allegany High School in Cumberland, Md Class of 1977.  He was a Christian and attended the Cresaptown Methodist Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Darmstadt, Germany. 

Scott was an electrician working at Harding Electric, Mactac and retiring from Proctor and Gamble. 

He had many hobbies in his life.  He enjoyed, fishing, snow skiing, golfing, and especially trips with his wife Francine.  Scott played war games online and had many friends in that community. 

He was an excellent cook who had a very particular palate.  Scott enjoyed cooking for his friends and family and made too many delicious things to mention.  His greatest cooking accomplishments was baking a special award-winning Bee Sting Cake.  

Scott is survived by the love of his life Francine (Bedisky Francik) his soulmate on August 13th, 2012, mother Ruby Nee, stepfather, Regis Blahut, daughters, Kierra Gilmore and husband Keith, Brittney Isaiah and husband Ben, Lauren Heidix and husband A.J., sons, Jarrod Fichtner, step-son, Scott Francik and wife Lauren, grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, James, Alfred, Gavin, Harper and Landon, brothers, Ted Nee and wife Mary Ann, Brad Nee and wife Mary, and sister Cathy Miles and husband Bryan, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Scoot’s life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. 

Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
