Obituary of Vincentine Babe Fulmer
Vincentine “Babe” Fulmer, 88, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday September 7th, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Twp.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Dominica “Rose” Butera Blandina and was a graduate of the Wyoming High School class of 1952. She was a member of St. Barbara’s Parish, Exeter.
She was a seatmstress for many years in her families dress factorys and many other of our local factorys.
Vincentine loved spending time with her family. She also loved cooking and baking and always said it was so relaxing for her. She also loved pruning her rose bushes and giving people roses from her bushes.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Leonard Blandina, sisters, Carmella Caprio, Connie Sabetta, Angeline Gilroy.
Vincentine is survived by her husband, Howard Fulmer, they would have been married 63 years on October 1st, children, Howard Fulmer and wife Janet, Wellsboro, Susan Kisbaugh and her husband Joseph, Hazelton, Michael Fulmer and his wife Michelle, West Pittston, grandchildren, Molly Dias and her husband Thomas, Daniella Fulmer and Michael Fulmer, great grandchild, James Dias, sister, Rose Sidorwicz, Forty-Fort, brother-in-law, Phillip Fulmer and wife Carol, Pittston and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 11th, 2023 at 11a.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston with the Pastor William Bauchman of the First United Methodist Church of Pittston, officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 am until service time at 11am. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
