Obituary of John E. Golecki

John E. Golecki, 70, of Wyoming, passed away Wednesday December 20th, 2023 in Fox Chase Hospital, Philadelphia, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Kingston he was a son of the late Harold and Edwarda Comstock Golecki and was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and attended Penn State University.

John loved shooting his guns and being outdoors.  He also loved Eric Clapton an playing his guitar and riding his motorcycle. 

He also had a special love for his animals especially his German Shepherd Sheeba.

John was a former member of the First United Presbyterian Church, West Pittston.  

He was a salesman for many of our local printing companies.

John was preceded in death by his son John E. Golecki II in 2017.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Golecki and Sarah Golecki, grandchildren, sister Carol Golecki and several cousins.

Relatives and friends may attend a viewing for John on Friday January 5th, 2023 from 6pm until 8pm. At the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.   A service will be held at 8pm with Father Paul McDonnell, officiating.  Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
