Anthony Joseph Dellarte, 71, of Edwardsville, passed away Monday February 26th, 2024 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem after a brief illness.
Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Anthony R. and Amelia DeGennaro Dellarte.
Anthony was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School Class of 1970 and a graduate from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Business Management.
Prior to his retirement he was employed at Luzerne County Community College for more than 40 years as an accounting teacher and was the Chair of the Business and Accounting Department for the last 10 years.
Tony loved his family especially his five grandchildren, who gave him the name T-Pop. He was an avid New York Yankees and Penn State Fan. He loved to watch sports on television or out with his group of friends who were like family. Tony also loved food whether it was eating, cooking, or ordering out at his favorite Italian restaurants.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Chesna.
Tony is survived by his wife of 37 years the former Diane Morris, Children, Anthony and his wife Jennifer, Texas, Nicole Biscotto and her husband James, Lake Lehman, Jeff and his wife Breeanna, Teleford, Pa, Eric and his wife Tasia, Chestnut Hill, grandchildren, Ariana Hogan, Delcia and Giolla Biscotto, Emilia and Iyla Dellarte, great-grandson, Decan Davenport, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 2pm until 5pm at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. A blessing service will be held at 5pm with Monsignor John Sempa, Celebrant. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
