Obituary of Edward John Mazza
Edward J. Mazza Jr., passed away Thursday April 18th, 2024 unexpectedly.
Born in KIngston, he was a son of Deborah Cusick Mazza-Gaydos and the late Edward J. Mazza Sr. He was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School.
Ed was employed at J and L Pools and also worked at several area pool companies.
He loved his boys and his family. Ed’s time with his boys were special to him. He was an avid New York Giants fan and never missed watching a game. Ed was always up for a great poker game against family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward J. Mazza Sr in 1998, his paternal grandparents Joseph and Nellie Mazza and Maternal grandparents, Ruth and Patrick Cusick.
Ed is survived by his sons, Cameron and Cayden Mazza, mother , Deborah Mazza-Gaydos, sister, Stephanie Mazza, brother Michael Mazza, step-daughter, Kayla Defebo,nieces, Alexis, Aliyah, and Mia.
All funeral services for Ed will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston.
