Margaret Ann Tigue, 87, of Exeter, passed away early Sunday morning in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, Pa.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late John Golden and Margaret Parsons Golden. She was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wyoming.
Margaret loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a mom who raised her three sons on her own and supported and worked hard to give them a great life. She was dedicated to her job for 30 years at Wesley Village.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Golden.
Margaret is survived by her children, John and his wife Cheryl, West Wyoming, Stephen and his wife Audrey, Forty-Fort, Ken and his wife Jessie, Harding, grandchildren, Michael and his wife Katie, Morgan Bencho and her husband Aaron, John and his wife Jessica, Christopher Tigue, and Hayley and her Fiance Luke Kropp, great-grandchildren, Ella, Jack and Lainey, brother, John “Jack” Golden and his wife Theresa, Virginia, sisters, Marylin Sleboda, Pittston, Deborah Tighe and husband Eugene, Pittston, and several nieces and nephews.
As per Margaret’s wishes all of her funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
