James A. Bedford Obituary
James A. Bedford, 73, of Kingston, passed away Monday June 24th, 2024 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Earl and Rita Pagnani Bedford. He attended Nanticoke High School.
James was a custodian at several of our area nursing homes most recently at River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
He loved to go for walks, country music, church bazaars, and carnivals.
James was preceded in death by his brothers, Brian, Edward, and Dennis Bedford, and a sister, Joann Ivers.
He is survived by his companion of over 30 years Deborah Evans, Exeter, Brothers, William (Alicia), New York, Peter (Karen), Nanticoke, sisters. Alberta Wheeler (Harold), Tracy Bedford, Plymouth, Jackie Cragle (Tony), Nanticoke, and several nieces and nephews.
All funeral services for James will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
