Obituary of Deborah A. Andruscavage
Deborah A. Andruscavage, 70, of West Pittston, passed away Wednesday evening in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Long Island, New York, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Keller Andruscavage. She was a graduate of the Pittston Area High School. After High School she went to Luzerne County Community College and received her nursing degree.
She loved her family immensely, and she was always there to listen, comfort and provide help. Deborah adored her 4 grandchildren with her entire heart. They were her entire world. She was the best MiMi to them all.
Deborah was a nurse for 35 years which she dedicated her life to care in their time of need. She loved the ladies and adored her work family that she worked alongside with.
She loved gardening, cooking, baking and the outdoors. Deborah loved listening to music, especially Van Morrison and Harry Chapin. She also enjoyed reading poetry and also from time to time writing some of her own.
She is survived by her children, son, Joshua Walsh and his wife Kiera, Pittston, daughter Sarah Daywood and her husband Simon, Mountain Top, grandchildren, Hayley Lewis, Ava Walsh, Addison and Nora Daywood, sisters, Dorothy “Dottie” O’Malley, Florida, Susan Dructor and her husband Thomas, Pittston, Joann Kiwak, Swoyersville, Bonnie Martin, Pittston, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Deborah on Thursday December 26th, 2024 from 5pm until 7pm at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. All other Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
