Beverly A. Bernaskas, 83, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday December 22nd, 2021 in Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Strubeck Wallace and was a graduate of the Pittston High School Class of 1956.
Over the years she was a member of the West Pittston Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and most recently belonged to the Moosic Alliance Community Church.
Beverly worked in Laurie Dress in Pittston, and Topps in Duryea. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, sister and Aunt to Many.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her Husband Albert Bernaskas in 2019, Son, Ronnie Coolbaugh, Brothers, Carl and Wayne Wallace, her Great Granddaughter, Kristabelle Culler.
Beverly is survived by her Sons, William (Jennifer) Coolbaugh, Duane "Fig" (Adrienne) Coolbaugh, Sisters, Nancy Liskosky, Helen Mesaros (James), 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday December 28th, 2021 at 11a.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston. Family and Friends may call on Monday December 27th, 2021 from 5pm. until 8p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Dallas following the Service on Tuesday.
In Lieu of Flowers may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Beverly's name.
