Bill and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Jane was a neighborhood friend. We loved the Kolmansberger family. There were a lot of big families in the area so we had plenty of friends to play games.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I want to send love and light to Jane's family and friends. I worked with Jane at Wilkes U, and she was one of the kindest, fun people I've ever worked with. Bill, Jane always brought you up in conversation. It was obvious that she adored you. My prayers are with all of you.

I want to express my most sincere condolences to the Dessoye family on the passing of Jane.
Truly a great loss which saddens me greatly. Tempering that sadness are the wonderful memories of Jane - who she was and what she did - truly an absolutely powerful force for good.
I wanted to share a brief memory - I met Jane, in passing, at King's College. I had just been informed that, due to changes in Financial Aid, I would not be able to attend King's (my first choice) and there was nothing that could be done.
I did not know Jane but she observed me leaving campus - apparently I appeared out of sorts and she took a moment to stop and talk with me. Upon learning my situation, she walked me to her office and hammered out a package that allowed me attend King's. The fact that Jane saw a need, took the time and action changed my life for the better and I've always remembered that moment and factored it into how I conduct myself. That moment initiated an important friendship in my life.
She led an incredible life focused on the important things - and helped, immeasurably countless students and others.
God bless and keep Jane, her family and friends.

Jane was the cheerleader of our NEPIC Financial Aid Group. While we all dealt with serious issues, Jane always made meetings, van trips, and conferences fun for everyone. Jane, in her quite unassuming way, helped thousands of her students achieve their educational goals. While some in her profession served as gate keepers, Jane was a door opener. Because of her dedicated work in Higher Education, she has made the entire world a better place.
