Sandy and I would like to extend our sincerest condolences for your loss. He was a very caring person who I so enjoyed working with at the Wilkes-Barre Area Vo-Tech. We shared classrooms and good stories every day. He was always upbeat and fun to be around and really cared about the students.

Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays with Mr. Robinson. That’s what I wrote in the book “Tuesday’s with Morrie” that I gave to Mr. Robinson to read on his flight to Pebble Beach to play golf that week that we were to take our final exams. Mr. Robinson had said to our class, “ I could be here in this room giving you your final exams or I could be golfing at a place I’ve dreamt of golfing my entire life.” “ Where do you think I’m going to be?” And so it was that we took our final exams at home with an open book while Mr. Robinson fullfilled his dream. In my opening memory here I said Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays because we all knew if it was a sunny Friday coming up there would be no class as Mr. Robinson would be on the links. Thank you for teaching me what succeeding in life really is Mr. Robinson. I was foolish then to believe success was monetary things and status symbols but I’m wise enough now to know that what you wanted us to realize was that succeeding was much more than that and what mattered most in life was family. I’m honored to have been taught by you, a wise man indeed. May all of your days in heaven be sunny days at the links. Love you Mr. Robinson thanks for the important life lessons. Many heartfelt condolences to your beloved wife and family. Rest easy my friend.

Dear Pat and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Carlyle's passing. He was such a bright light and brought so much laughter to our lives. I have so many fond memories of watching him play golf with my Dad in the Honesdale Member Guest, watching him make so many clutch shots and putts and then having everyone in stitches at the clubhouse afterwards.
